Just a closer look to my own project, neOS Carbon. I'm working on it since almost four months and I'm very happy of the result. Almost finished !
Q & A
Q : What is neOS Carbon ? A : A personal and fully customizable locking system for Windows
Q : What are the main unlocking modes ? A : Insert a drive (USB key, disk, etc.), enter a password, and enter a hotkey (keyboard shortcut)
Q : Is it stable ? A : Yes, it only closes the task manager, the explorer and block some system hotkeys. If it crashes, it will restore those functions.
Q : What is the advanced editor ? A : It is where you customize all the elements of the lock screen. You can change all the images, set the position of the elements (password, button, control box), change the background, the cursor, the opacity, the user's picture, etc.
Q : Which operating system does it support ? A : It was tested on Windows XP and Vista. If you have the .Net Framework 2.0 installed on Windows 98, it should work fine.
Other questions ? Ask them here. If you want to test neOS Carbon, send an email to pixel-psychotronic@hotmail.com The current version is only in French but will soon be translated in English. Oh, and happy holidays ! ^^
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
